We are advocating for specific legal protection for domestic workers taking into consideration the uniqueness of their working situations.
We are advocating for decent works, recognition and dignity for domestic workers.
We are working to prevent child domestic labor and promote child’s access to education.
Capacity building and Empowerment
We are investing our efforts and resources to promote hope, resilience and confidence among young girls who employed in the domestic work sector. We are utilizing a peer education tool to reach them by door to door or through small group convenings at street levels thanks for the strong collaboration of street leaders and community social workers. Resilience and confidence among domestic workers irrigate their power to say no against sexual abuse
We are imparting knowledge and skills among domestic workers to negotiate better work situation, salaries and written job contracts with their employers.
Imparting girls with vocational and learning skills on their job ethics, roles and rights.
Build capacities of D/W on sexual reproduction Health rights.
Build capacities of girls/children in rural schools and families to prevent drop outs.
We have special attention on the aspect of economic empowerment by promoting savings and credits systems among domestic workers and spreading financial literacies and basic business knowledge among domestic workers. Almost every domestic worker has dreams. The economic empowerment component equips them with necessary skills to enable them live around their own dreams.
